    Battery replacement advice

I have a 28' Pro Kat with twin 225 Hondas. I have 4 batteries (group 24) 2 on each side.

Time to replace. Should I buy cranking or deep cycle?
When we anchor for the night I usually shut down one set so that I can be sure to start in the AM and we usually run anchor lights, baitwell pumps and a few other minor things at night.

What number cranking power do I need?

Keep two of the 24's for starting, and put in a 8d or 31 for the house loads.

Never been a fan of having 4 batteries for two motors.
