With today's 10% fuel you have to really watch your fuel lines also. The E-fuel is tough on that stuff. Realy bad for fiberglass tanks.....

Towerman is corect. Definately coat the new tank before u install it. I've known guy's that at least paint it with 545 Awlgrip primer or even roll on coal tar epoxy good for a long life

you need to first etch prime an aluminum surface before applying anything to it,this will assure a good bond...i use and reccomend intreprotect 2000...
