I made an offer on it, never heard anything back.
It fell off the jackstands onto the ground during hurricane Irene.

Jay,
Seems like a good price. Have you seen it in person? Just wondering if it is in rough shape. Thanks.
Yeah the price is what got my attention although it dosent look like it has riggers it dosent look to bad. I have emailed the broker we will se what they say. Jay how long has it been on stands? And when it fell was there much damage?
Jay
Don't know how much damage it sustained, but falling off the jack stands and hitting the ground is not good for any boat.
The boat is rough. Needs painted and put back together, probably totally rewired and re-plumbed.
The boat has been pilfered too, no riggers, rod holders, chairs or electronics.
When it ran charters out of hatteras it was a little on the slow side, 16-18 knots.
My opinion before it fell off the jackstands, it was maybe worth 10-20k. Maybee alot less now depending upon the damage.
I faxed the broker an offer as soon as it was listed, and he never responded.
He is dreaming if he thinks it is worth anything near the asking price.

With the stuff missing that they claim is there??$$ and the speeds you seen it do? With a very questionable 3116.?$ And being on the outer banks where non Islanders are not even allowed yet, I believe? You made a hell of a good offer on a boat even before it hit the ground from stands?
she has nice lines, if the hull was not damaged from the fall it might make a good resto project. If you hear anything else Jay keep us informed.
A week and no reply from the broker, guess they don't wanna sell it to bad. Sounds like their loss is my gain?!
Jay
How bout it, amazing some people are still in business.
I spent about 6 hours going over the boat inside and out, another 4-6 hours figuring what it would take to get her running.
Submitted an offer sheet for what I thought was a fair offer (prior to falling off the jackstands during Irene), and faxed it.
Never heard a word.

Jay, I looked at the boat on the internet. Found out a little background and abandoned the idea. I thought it would be a great project boat. I bought a 32 Topaz that was in great shape instead for about the same price as this boat. It is a shame, the boat has nice lines.
