Love the PropSpeed product. Not cheap but works great. We have had very good success with it on the running gear (shafts, struts, rudders). Despite its namesake - I do not think I would use it on the props though. It tends to burn off and makes it difficult if you have to replace/rework wheels. Besides, cleaning the props in the water or on a lift is not that bad.
I am not sure but I think I do remember hearing that it needs to stay wet to be effective. It is not technically difficult to apply but it does need to be done exactly as outlined in the instructions. It is a two part application and timing of the second product is crutial. Really a two person project. Make sure whoever is applying it has done it before with success. I have heard of a number of people that were not happy with the results I would bet that it was do to the application.
