Annapolis boat show

I went on Thursday, and haven't been in a few years. I think it is not worth the price of admission, $35.00, not again, plus the $20.00 to park! I am not cheaping out but I just did not see the value

Why didn't you park at the stadium for $10 and go on Friday for $17? We did that at the sailboat show.

I had a situation come up that made it cost nothing. I sold my second F225 on ebay to a guy in the grand cayman isl. after he put the full amountb in my paypal he was having trouble getting it to a miami shipping company that was going to put it in a container for export. They were getting prices of 1300 just to crate and truck to miami? I knew IBEX was this week and I offered to crate and truck it there in the back of my diesel PU for $650. He prepaid that to. then a quick call to my fishing friend{hes also got a trip 34 sea vee we go off shore a lot in} who along with his wife own 3 rental properties in south beach.one was empty. He wouldnt take a dime and I stayed on the beach 3 blocks from conv. center? I totaled the cost of the drive it was around $400. got close to 17 mpg with my 12 valve cummins. The Ibex was something I always wanted but never went? I always was to busy? It was very light trafic at the show also but the admission was free along with my condo.I came back with lotsa boat building reading material. I didnt work on my stuff for a week and who cares?

Nice one Jay, I hope you got some good pictures of the beachscape, so all your pal can see what they missed, Ibex can be a good show, It just wasn't in the cards for me this year, I have a few people looking at the boat I have under construction so I have tried to be attentive an available,, how was the fishing?,, All the Best, Bo
