I wouldn't put that clean boat in that water right now. It will wash the new right off it.

    AmeraCat,

What does she look like out of the water? Not a Cat fan yet, give it your best shot. I've only been out on the WC's, am not impressed at all. Found it wet, no room to fish, not nearly as stable on the drift as I was expecting, outboard's back way too far to fish around. Just not my cup of tea. Frank

I've never found the world cat to be anymore wet than anyother cc personally. My SC is definitely not wet. Few boats drifting beam to will be stable. The AC 33 has a 12' beam so its going to be as stable as most.

You don't judge all trucks by one brand or all monohulls by one brand, why would you ride a world cat and say all cats are the same.

Ride an AmeraCat whether you want it or not, if for no other reason but to educate yourself.

AmeraCat can put the fish box in the front if you want and it will be easy to fish around the motors.

    Castiron,

I didn't throw them all under the bus! I stated that I was not impressed with the World Cat, that's the only one that I've been on. I hear folk's rave about them, so it took a ride, that's how it shook out. I inquired about the AmeriCat when the post came out and never heard any thing till today. My question went unanswered. I know there's alway's a better mouse trap out there. My mind is not closed to the cat idea, but seeing is believing. I thought my interest was expressed with my question's, maybe not plain enough. Frank

    sea..

to me they seem to be able to be a little more 'free' in turning, steering the boat and they don't make you feel like you go up a floor when you get on a plane.. a bunch faster than pro cat . glacier bay rigs.. built solid but light.. has room..

I like it, but I think they need a couple more cup holders in the leaning post under the rocket launcher, you never know how many beers you'll have open at once

Sorry, I had my notification set to immediate but for some reason I don't get notifications from this forum.

The gentleman that ordered that boat has a resort in the keys. I have actually thought about adding extra cupholders to my 31 because it seems they always get filled up with junk.
