Aluminum Tower Restoration

O.K. Guys I will try not to be too much of a PITA on here. I have one more question: What can be done to make "old" aluminum look half way decent again?? I know it cannot be fully restored to the brightness when it is new, but need to know if a process can be done to make the tower more presentable ?? Any suggestions ??

Don't worry about being a pain , you are not !,, This place has always been a good place to learn and share info, that being said, not much you can do when the Clear anodizing gets cloudy,, you can try a mild polishing compound but ,you will likley find it did not render the look you are seeking. Some have gone to powder coating ,, time will tell if that works,

and as an alternative, your boat is but one marina away from a very skill tower/ tee top builder,, he is at Advanced Marine,, stop in and ask for Frankie,, ( 443 404 8330) tell him I sent you,, best of luck
