ok I am completely biased as i just spent this morning over at Judge Yachts and am fired up about how my little boat is coming along. However I am going to say for that kind of money you can get a 34' Semi custom express by Judge. it will be faster, more fuel efficient, more stable and have the little touches to make the boat yours. While i was there, i got to check out the 34 with the windshield that Bill posted earlier this week and am amazed at the beauty and craftsmanship of his boats. i will be the first to admit tha I cannot compare to the Albemarle, but my excitement and enthusiasm says if you are going to spend that kind of money then you really need to go talk to Bill Judge about building you your own boat with the stuff exactly as you want. (heck your wife can pick out the v-berth patterns)
In case you missed the thread. here it is: Judge 34, a new look!
Photos dont do her justice!!!!
Great riding boat. But fuel efficient she ain't. And yes, with the deadrise that gives you that great ride, you also get alot of rock and roll on the drift. It was a well built boat though. What motors are in the one you're considering?

If your like me and only troll you will love it and the newer yanmars will out do my 3116 cats as far as economy but I run out 65 miles troll all day and run home on about 130 gallons. Do not plan on going bottom fishing with the family most days it will rock you in the short chop to where you will need safety lines to try to fishIt will take you out and bring you home with the big boys and I have never had a worry about running in the shit.
cowboy thanks for the input. we, like you, spend most of our time trolling and the rest anchored. very little drifting. i like the look of the boat alot as well, much sleeker than the rest of the albemarles. and its a big 32 footer, i believe its a 32ft waterline, almost as big as the 35 cabo...pretty neat. anyways thanks for the help and good luck out there. we are going to go look at the boat within the next couple days...
went and saw it today. only one thing i saw, the boat seemed to be lacking in fish storage. cowboy, do you think the boat has enough room for an above deck fishbox? the boat looked like an animal though. great looking hull, layout seemed really good as well...
