Albemarle 30' Express?`

2003 Albemarle 30' Express or any albemarle boat

Anyone have any experences on one of these boats?

Pros? Cons?

Any info would be great

A friend of mine has a 2001 Model. Boat hits hard on a head sea and very wet. Slow trolling or even drifting or on the hook Carries a lot of motion. Due to a lot of deadrise. If anyone is prone to sea sickness, not a good choice. But the boats are built very well. Albermarle has great quality.

I fish on an '04 31'. Before that we had the old style (01) 28. The new vs old hull is worlds different. The boat we fish on now is much more stable, better on the drift and slow troll (very little if any snap roll), better in a following sea, but isn't quite as good in a straight on head sea. This is our second year on it and we couldn't be happier with the boat.

I owned a 305 Albemarle, they are wet and not as good of a head sea boat as the 32 Albemarle and they do roll if you are not moving. I sold my after taking a ride on a Judge 34 Express. What a world of difference.
