adding a second station

Looking to add a second fish finder. I have a furuno 582L and want to put annother monitor in the cockpit. Is it possible to just run a NEMA type cable from my primary unit( witch is hooked to my transducer) to my new monitor and get a duplicate picture? Do they both have to be 582L's? Thank's

unfortunately that unit does not have a any type of video output that would allow you to display the units image on another screen. However if you are just looking for depth/temp (no bottom picture) you would be able to display the data with any unit that has a NMEA 0183 input.
