Garlington
The later 58's (I think there were 3) jig was stretched 3' to be the 61. The cockpit was lengthned. The 58 was a great boat as well, but the added length improved the ride considerably.
The rounded deck house and bridge of these Garlingtons was the inspiration for the present carolina boats house style. Spencer, Bayliss and others gave their boats that radius and rake.
