Mike,
he did repower so it's hard to say. The main reason we tubed the shaft was because we did away with the old bolt down style shaft logs that had some wet wood under them and replaced those with tubes, we were there and had the tube so just went on ahead and did the whole thing. She cruises at about 28 knots so I am sure there is some gain. How much I am not really sure though. Troy |

Hey Dave,
hope all is well and sunny in Costa, it's been like early fall here for most of the winter with just a few cold days. We crushed the rock today in Va. Beach and the temp was close to 70...........again. The water temp has been in the mid to upper 40's all winter, 47 today I beleive. We are going to pay for the mild weather real soon I have a feeling, just hope it's not during Cobia season !!! The rumor is true on the proto type c-18s, 1150 hp I think. Just about anyone that wanted one could get one, Frenzy, SeaDucer, Hooker, Jersey, and the Carolinian went with a pair !!! just to name a few.The catch is 900 hours by the end of August. Frenzy told me he had to change his riser though, the old one from his 1000 c-18 wouldn't work so thats a little extra. Take care, Troy |
