    44 footer under construction (western system epoxy)

    Just thought to post few shots of my buddies vessel currently built in NZ by himself....single 575hp Cat diesel.LOA 13.6m ,BOA 4.6m.Will post external pics later as covered with plastic during painting.

    WOW I think there are some really cool ideas on that boat. I can't wait to see the rest of the pics. I love the stair but hate the sink. Has anyone ever used a sink in the cockpit? I always raise an eyebrow when I see that on boats. I do like the reinforced bridge rod holder.

    My cockpit has a sink, and a bar-b-que, and we use both all the time.

    Maybe its a west coast thing. There isn't as much long range cruising here on the east coast. most of our BBQ's are on the dock and the hose works well to.

    It's a combination washer-dryer. And if you look carefully, you will note a tall door on the forward end of the port-side of the cockpit -- that is a phone booth.


    (But in case you were serious with your question, the clothes dryer is the entrance to the crew quarters and engine room, and the phone booth is a day head.)
