38 Out Island

There was some interest in pics of a new 38 Out Island. A good friend had this boat built and the mechanicals installed by Out Island over the winter and then shipped it up to RI to have the tower and finishing touches added. She is nice ride with the 575 HP CAT C9's. Top end is 35 knots fully loaded and she cruises comfortably at 30 knots with a soft ride. Has all the toys with freezer plates, raw water ice maker etc. Still assessing her fish raising ability, but I think we will do just fine.

My boat is the Tiara on the right. I have it listed if anyone is interested. I now have a good friend with an offshore sled. If anyone is interested in either boat, send me a PM with your email and I can provide more details and high resolution pictures.

More pics of the 38 Out Island. Custom hard top with rod storage is nice. Plus the boat has a rod storage locker on the starboard side with fresh water wash down that accommodates 10 short bent butt internationals, poon and gaff. Locker is vertical between cockpit and cabin and is accessible from the cockpit.
