A friend purchased an 02 34 Luhrs and asked me to run it to his marina and I wanted to know if anyone knows the performance stats on those motors. Like the oil pressure/temp/cruise rpms/ etc?
Here is a link to a Cummins website with the spec sheets and performance curve data for those engines. I would be interested in hearing your impressions after the trip, I've been looking at these engines for a repower job on a similar boat..
kcummin...thanks for the site. I actually took it around today since the weather did not look to promising later in the week. I like the engines. They ran smooth the entire time and I cruised around 2600 and was running about 27kts. Not too bad. It should burn around 12-15g/hr at that speed. Still had plenty left too. Good luck ont he repower.
