hey jawz12,
any more progress photos on your lobstah boat or are you tired of shoveling out a path to your shop like us on kent island md,hope all is well.
yep
gotta do a little update on this...
as for now,got a little computer problem...i'm on "babz's" computer...mine,suffered a bad accident...my hands are so chapped and split everywhere,i can't hold onto anything...got no "grip"...i dropped a cup of coffee on my computer...it's oficially dead...
thats one hell of a project! do you have a splash date in mind? it'll b a fish killing machine when its ready! good luck amigo
here's a little up date...
the keel was a little "roughed up" from hauling, previous repair on it too...i ground it all out and reglassed the whole thing...had to jack it up and move the blocksscary stuff...i have big fear of gravity !!
oh well...glass work on the keel is complete...pics of that to follow...
got the wave wall on,glassed, and the window cut out...
deck is completley out-all the timbers are in excellent shape, ribs look good too...cleanign up wood scraps from the deck removal, and the deck's going in...
pulled the prop cage, pulled the prop too-sent it up to pat whelen-eastern prop-for a little tune up...
gotta excuse me on the pics...i killed my own computer...
i'm doing my best to upload the worst looking pictures i can find
the picture of the keel, that's before any repairs were started...
Look'n good jawz,
? for you.
I know thats a big ol dinosaur there, but if you were building a pilot house on a much narrower beam boat, would you still be using ply, or would you use foam / composite board (coosa) to keep the weight down ?
