old school detroits are 2 stroke...the reason that has a "blower"...very cool...

got a few updates here...

aft rub rails are on,spray rails are on,decks out...spent a good amount of time going over everything.found a few "spots" on the hull,first was in the stbd aft area-near the rub rails i installed...glass was delaminated ??? ground the area out,and glassed it all together...next spot was hte "stem" area,bow...glass had a "hollow" sound to it,when i hit it with the grinder...ground it out and found a plnk with some rotting on the end...cut it out and snuck a new section in...man,let me tell ya something,these cats in the new england area sure know how to build a boat-geezus h !! giant silicon bronze screws-nice !!!
this ol' girl's a little rough,but it's sure as hell is solid...
got the bow area all glassed up,and,started to "mock up" a "wave wall" on the port side...gonna use old school marine grade ply-old school is good cut it all out,and glassed it up...waiting for the epoxy to kick and then flip it over and do the other side...
back at it again tomorrow...
