36' Invincible Boat - Open Fish

Anyone see this boat at the boat show?

My buddy is looking into a new tournament boat...We took this boat for a test ride and it rode like a champ.

We ran it in calm waters with 1/2 tank and it did 74.8 MPH...trip 300 optimax.

I heard a bit about them. Good Stuff too!! The owner of the company Rob is a former Yellowfin 34 Owner and I believe still works for them improving the boats. The Boat is the Best of Both worlds from Fountain/Yellowfin/ Contender. Ill poat up some pics from the other site.

No transom door? How do you get that slob sword in the boat?

Hell & I was sitting here thinking how nice this boat is compaired to many of the others in it's class because it DIDN'T have a transome door! LOL\

Goes to show different strokes for different folks. I personally like to be able to choose which corner I want to fight stand up. Those pesky little doors force you to always fight from one corner or either from the gunnels. Wedging yourself in a corner makes for a more enjoyable fight.

I do however light the overall layout. Some would complain that there isn't enough storage. But my question is how much storeage do you require on a center console! LOL

Transom doors weaken the structural integrity of the boat, allowing for increased movement and flex of the gunnel on the door side.

I just deleted my transom door by extending my fish box on my 34' CC. I gained tackle storage and tuna tubes in the extended structure.

My boat is now much stronger with zero flex and it is now optimized for mid-atlantic trolling. I do not understand why most CC's have transom doors.
