36 FT OuterBanks Boatworks.... Sweet Ride!!

Made it up Cedar Island last week for Turkey day and while there I stopped in Harkers Island to see what Billy Dupree of OBX Boatworks had cookin. He wasnt around but I saw this sweet thang down the road from the shop. Man he builds a pretty boat! And I can imagine the speed he gets out of this rig with 600 horses strapped on her ass. Enjoy!!

Guys I think everyones taste are different. I wasnt a fan of outboards on these boats either until I looked at it from a different angle.
1st is speed, this probably a 40-50 knot boat with outboards.
    2nd is price
    3rd I think maintenance

You probably dont have the longevity with outboards but theres a huge difference in price. Price means alot to me right now. But I agree, the 350s would really add alot of HP to the equation.

If you live around my neighborhood of Topsail you cant get out of our inlet with inboard motors, just ask the guys with 28 Classics who keep bending or breaking prop shafts. You have to be able to jack your engines up. SO I love outboards and I love these boats with outboards, makes perfect sense.

SWEET BOAT LOVE THE LINES THE COLOR AND THE ENGINES.
