    34 Tides Custom Yachts

I just found out about this forum about a month ago and became a member. I am having a 34 tides custom yacht built and it should be finished soon. I thought I would post the build pictures of the boat. I used to have a 27 tides and it was an incredible boat. When they got a mold for a 34 I decided to move up. I do not know how to post pics so I put a link to where I loaded the pics on the site.

I have twin 380 Yanmars and a 5 KW Generator. The boat did 34 kt. when we ran it with out the tower and cruised at 30 Kt. The fuel butrn without the tower, full fuel, full water, 4 guys and about 250 pounds of gear was 1.3 miles per gallon at 30 kts and 1.6 miles per galon any where from 23 kt. to 27 kt. It was blowing about 15 to 20 kts that day and the bay was a strong 2 ft to 3 ft chop. A cold front was coming through. Speeds and fuel burn we an average going against the chap and with the chop.
Boat hold 300 gallons and 30 gallons water. There is a fish box in the stern, live well in the floor with holes in the bottom so there is not a pump.

That is a very clean and well laid out boat, lot of pretty lines. Good luck with the boat, looks like a nice efficient boat.

    Top shelf,
The boat looks great thanks for posting the photos.
What are the fittings that appear to drain into the trim tab boxs,do the nipple fittings drain the hatch surrounds?
Any photos of the live well?

    Regards Andrew.

All of the bilges drain through the trim tab pockets as well as the hatch drains. The only through hull above the water line is the AC water drain and the fuel vent. The deck also drains through the trim tabs. Don't ask how becasue I do not know. I questioned it on the last boat they built for me but it worked.

    She is beautiful TS

    Top Shelf,

She is a real head turner to say the least. Gotta love the beauty of the old Gamefisherman 34' hull. A timeless classic as far as I'm concerned. I wish you many years of good luck and happiness with her, and please post more photos as she finishes up.

    Top,

I drooled over your 27 while you were selling it. If only I had a few more dollars or a few less kids to educate.... This one look just as beautiful.

The boat is basically finished. It is just waiting on the enclosure. I should be taking delivery the first two weeks in Feb. There is a boat show this weekend in Sarasota at Marina Jacks. The boat will be in the show is anyone wants to go take a look. I am waiting on finished pictures and will post them when I get them.

    Topshelf,

That is one sweet looking ride. A guy I know has a 27 for sale and I really thought about buying it. The only draw back with his is that it had twin gas engines instead of the diesels. Good luck with her and welcome aboard.
