    32 Albemarle Flybridge

I'm pretty sure that I saw that a few guys on here own a 32 Albe convertible. Can anyone give me any details in their likes and dislikes about the boat? What's it like on in a head sea? Is it a wet boat? I imagine she rolls quite a bit while on the hook. What is the interior layout like? Is there anyway to sleep more than two persons?

    Thanks,
    Larry

I have had one for the past 20 years as we bought one of the first with 300B Cummins. I recently repowered with 370 Yanmars. I think the boat is a great little offshore battlewagon with a great ride. Very dry and it great in a head sea. Remember you are sitting on a bridge not an express so you feel more motion. I can name many positives and negatives with the boat. It will sleep more than 2 but I do not use it that way. I wish it were a little faster and a little less tender on the drift but there are always tradeoffs. The newer models are configured a little different with regards to engine placement and tankage so I do not know how that affects the ride. If you have any more specific questions feel free to ask.

we run a 1990 with the 300b's. the boat is a tank for its size and is great while running. on the drift she does rock but on the hook shes not to bad. we run to the edge a couple of time a yr and the boat raises fish. same here if you have any specific questions please ask.

    Thanks guys.

Basically my dad and I run a 27 cc world cat. I'd like to find something more comfortable with overnight capqbilities. We run 40 to 70 miles so id like something that runs around 25. I think a fly bridge offers the most usable usable space, but I was wondering what the weight cg of a flybridge does to that short of a hull.

What kind fuel burn and cruise do you guys get w the 300s?

How many guys do you comfortably fish? Can any of you guys post pics of the interior?

My boat with the Cummins was a 21-22 knot cruise. With the Yanmars it is 25 knot cruise. Fuel burn with the Cummins was 170-210 for a Canyon trip (1am to 6pm) with Generator running all day. Now I burn about 10 more gallons for the same trip. I have never been on an express but the Bridge certainly is heavier than the tower so it much add some additional roll (not that it needs it). For a small boat I find the bridge is comfortable and can seat 3 with no problem. It used to seat 4 but I added release chairs (highly recommended) and they make the ride much more comfortable than those cheapish pompenette seats and the constantly breaking spiders. For interior shots look on yacht world as they all are the same. When we redid ours we got rid of those tacky floral prints and colors. We normally fish 3 or 4 but have taken 5 which is the limit in my opinion unless you are all small. I also used to fish the boat alot with 2 as it has cockpit controls which make it doable.
