I owned a 305 Albemarle, they are wet and not as good of a head sea boat as the 32 Albemarle and they do roll if you are not moving. I sold my after taking a ride on a Judge 34 Express. What a world of difference, no contest. If you'r going to get an Albe no matter what, get a 32 express.

am i wrong, but there is a difference between a 305 and a 31? isnt there.......

Different strokes I guess. I fish on a 31 (2004) and it's the cat's ass. We had a 28 before that and it ate up a head sea, but was a nightmare on the drift or anchor. This latest version (I think it's still the latest hull) of the 31, and it's worlds different. Mackey is right when he says it isn't great in a head sea, but other than that we couldn't be happier with it. It cruises fast and economically, drifts well, and seems to raise the fish. You know how whenever you run a boat for a couple of years you start to think of the next step? Well this is the first one that after two years we aren't even thinking of the next move.
