    Back Burner

This one is still on the back burner, I am bought to flip the 22' sound skiff, and after that I have interest in a couple of more skiffs. So for now it has to take a back seat.

She is snug and dry in her cacoon, and anxiously waiting for her next adventures.

If she were in the water, I would be out there hookin Cobes from the tower this afternoon.

    They were thick yesterday:

    Thumbs up

Glad to see you found the fish yesterday...12 Cobia bites is a heck of a day! Sounds like between the charters and work around the shop you've got a busy few months ahead of you. Hopefully someone will pick the other boat up and get her back out on the water when she deserves to be.

    Still Available

I have had a couple of inquiries lately so I though I would bump this back to the top.

Work in the boat shop is taking me a in a different direction, as well as lack of funds for me to finish this fine hull, as well as the need to raise a little cash for other endeavors.

She is very for sale as well as the Big Top enclosure that she is sitting under.

    http://www.bigtopshelters.com/

The big top shelter is 35' long, 20' wide and 12' high. It is a very sturdy rig, is supposed to withstand 150mph winds and is easily disassembled and transported on a small flatbed trailer.

I will sell the shelter seperately if the hull goes first, but I don't want to expose the hull to the weather, she is dry and snug in her tent.

Anyway, $14,000 obo takes it all.

    She needs a good home.

    Time to go

I have got alot of irons in the fire, an I really need to be free of this project right now.

I really wanted to finish it myself, as this rig was a money maker for me, and I think it would be again.

Anyway, I have got a spreadsheet of cost estimates for prospective buyers for finishing the boat, these are do it yourself estimates.

I would be happy to share it with serious buyers via email.

I also have alot of misc. parts that come with the boat, if you buy the hull. fuel tank, riggers (pretty bad shape, but good for parts) an electrical panel, rudder, strut, propeller, some raw water fittings, some exhaust stuff, a head, an electrical panel, fightin chair. I will keep whatever you don't want.

She needs a good home: $8k takes the boat and $4k takes the tent.

Glad you finally got rid of her, sure is a pretty hull. Do you happen to know what the new owner's plans are, as far as who will do the construction? Mighty big project ahead of someone..

I was really torn to get rid of her. I really wish I had the time and cash flow to make it happen but oh well.

Michael Tickle of Beaufort is her new owner.

I am pretty sure he plans to do the work himself.

I wish him luck and can't wait to see her on the water.

Jay, I'm kinda glad you sold her, as I was really thinking hard. Considering replacing the 25 Bertram and that is one that would work for me. Not sure I'm ready for another project...
