The 2900cc is one of the best ridding center consoles on the market. If your looking for one shop around,Nj teritory has all new dealers ,i dont think you will find any great deals on 07s. I am sold out of them ,but last i heard Brys marine in neptune nj had two leftovers.

Boat: Hydra Sports CC 2796, twin 225 Etecs
Home Port: Margate, NJ
Best Catch: white marlin @ AC Ridge summer '07
Occupation: slot machine sales
Don't know this model first hand but have one of its younger siblings - a 2796 CC Vector from yr 2000. I bought it used and am very happy with it. Built like a tank and just wants to run. It took me some time to get the trim tabs and engine trim just right, but when you do it's like a rocket. And just skips along top of whatevers out there. I took a look at the 2900 CC at last years AC show and there are some differences in the helm layout.
Good luck.

Boat: Hydrasports 2900VX
Home Port: Hampton, Va
Occupation: Retired Army that loves to fish inshore and offshore.
I have the 2900VX with twin Yamaha F250s, has the same hull as the CC. Once you get the trim tabs and engine trim figured out for the sweet spot in various sea conditions, it is a very good riding boat. Recommend going over the thehulltruth.com and searching there. There has been a lot of discussion on this boat.

just performed a mechanical check out on a 29 hydra sport-rigged a few too...those are built real well...the electrical systems are real clean and nicley layed out...they ride pretty sweet.all the boats i worked on had 250 hpdi's...
as the props are concerned, throw away the yamaha props, swap over to the merc wheels.i swapped the last one out with merc mirage 4 blades 17" pitch, the boat hit 48 with a full load of fuel and the enclosure down...

personally,i don't like the 4 stroke engines,stick with the hpdi's...
