    Sea Fox does not have a very good reputation, I guess it depends on what you are will to overlook. the fit and finish is not going to be what you would expect on some of your better production boats.

    Just remember you get what you pay for. the Don't know too much about suzuki motors but I hear they are pretty.

    i agree with what he said..

    i went from a top tier(boston whaler) to a mid tier boat(key west) and have regretted it since day 1....remember this is a big decision and not one you can change overnite,especially with the economy being what it is now...

    there are way to many great deals on top tier boats(contenders,regulators etc) to even consider anything else..

    but buy what makes you feel good..

    I agree stay away from them,,,,, wiring is done poorly ,,,,the only good thing about that boat is the engines

    Congratulations on buying a boat. I have heard that the newer Sea Fox models are better built than the earlier hulls. I would thoroughly checking all your thru-hulls, hoses (double clamp), wire teminations, etc. On some of the lower tier boats this is where the corners are cut.

    Make sure that you have all the appropriate safety equipment (true for any boat) and enjoy!
