26 foot Twin Vee problems

If you own a 26 foot Twin Vee Weekender/Express check your starboard sponsoon in the storage area Mine blew off a big piece of gelcoat last weekend and shows severe stress cracking in this area and at the forward and rear bulkhead in the storage area We feel the sponsoon is inadequately supported because of the storage area being an open area between the outside walls of the sponsoon The glass blew off right below a lifting strake and is below waterline so you will need to pull the boat to check it I have notified the owner of Twin Vee and he is looking into the problem We have a shop repairing it and will place foam and a bracing board between the outside walls prior to repairing the glass The boat should be better then new when repaired we'll see Check your boat is all I can say captainmadmike
