    25 grady 1977

    A friend of mine is looking at a 25 grady white 1977.
    very clean , nice boat. Just wondering if that vintage boat was good or not and how is its sea keeping abilities. Any info would be apreciated

    i owned a 25 grady sailfish t/200 on bracket from 92-01. this is a little later than 77 but i dont think they changed much in that time. my boat was a solid workhorse.it got me out and back in all kinds of conditions.towards the end it was hard to keep water out of the bracket.over the years i replaced the main fuel tank(rotted out on top)and the aux was on the way in 01.and replaced the deck. repowered twice and may have gone for three but the new 4 strokes(in 2001) would have caused weight problems.all around a great boat....Charlie
