Northcoast 24...Very Solid boat, very good in head sea, decent on the drift. With its deep Deep Vee and weight i would think its a little under powered with the 150's.Mid 20's cruise.Built from the mid - late 80' This boat was designed by Janice to run offshore, the designer of the famed Blackfin Hulls and several other well named boats. This boat would be on my short list in that price range and size. Good Luck, Hope this helps

24 Grand Slam

I own a 24 Shamrock Grand Slam that is the same hull as the Northcoast. I did a lot of research and even spoke with Charles Jannace before I purchased. It is a heavy boat, it was designed to have a cored hull but both Northcoast and then Shamrock built with solid glass. Improves the ride but requires more power to be efficient. I would be surprised if 150's cruised in the mid 20's. A few people have put a 2nd set of tabs on to keep the bow down. It is a solid ride. I purchased about a year ago and have been cleaning and slowly fixing her up. Unfortunately I also purchased a house at the same time and have been putting most of my time and money into that. Now I have a baby on the way and fear I will have even less time. I could be talked into selling if you are interested. I live in Virginia Beach. Let me know if you have any particular questions.

Very good hulls

I have a 31.

Both the 24 and the 31 have very very deep vees. However they do not rock while drifting because of the 3 reverse chines on each side of the hull.

My 31 is for sale in the classifieds section if your interested in bigger...And to be honest probably not too much more money than a 24 either..

would love a 31 but the 24 fits my need much better as of right now...i like hearing that they don't rock on the drift...helping my decision...
