a good friend and i are considering a new regulator 23. i made the mistake of fishing on a reg the other day and it ruined me!! any thoughts and feedback would be great. also, if anyone has one what engine/engines do you have and what kind of performance do you get?

The thread was started to ask input on a 23 regulator?????24 degree Deep V even in all the 24 degree deep v boats based on the formula 233 hull this company puts a lot more beef{weight}into their hulls. They run the rough water better than all the other boats that size! I have a friend with a 23 with a 250HPDI. He is selling it because he owns two boats and the wife said so. His other boat is a bigger bertram. He has turned down many offers because it rides too good to give$ it away. The ride is second to none! Its a little slower{weight} and its mpg is a little less{weight again} But the ride is the best. Now sharkbite I love a custom carolina type boat more than most. You pushing a Lemon winter boat website on him is just stupid spam. The website wont even load on my dual core 2+ ghz computer???????I cant Imagine how much time and $ they spent on that web site that wont load all the way?????. Maybe they should stick to boats?

You're not really going to find a much better riding 23 out there than the 23 Reg. You will be happy with one, but I would not buy new right now. There are alot of goods deals to be had. Pick a boat that is outfited to your liking already with good power and go for it.

With that we have twin 150 yamaha 4stroke on it. It has plenty of tourque and handles a heavy load good. Its not super fast but thats not my concern. We can see 2mpgs on nice weather.
