i pulled the head off of one side of my outboard yesterday to inspect the anodes. i notice that all three pistons had a black coating which i assume is normal. the bottom piston was dry and the black stuff was flaking off. the injector seemed dry as did the plug. i compared it to the other two cylinders and there was a big difference. the other two seemed slightly wet and the black stuff was not flaking off. could this be a bad injector?
