    1999 30 Grady Marlin

Hi guys, my first post. I'm a power boater cruiser style . I would like to get into a walk around fishing boat. I'm looking at a 1999 30 Grady White Marlin with twin Yamaha 250 hp OB. I'm trying to get a idea what kind of GPH and GPM I should expect to burn? It's my first venture into OB motors. I'm use to twin 5.7 Merc. IO'S in a 32 Maxum. Any 30 Marlin owner's out there? Thanks Ken

    well...
it's gonna burn much more than you used to...you're gonna see somewhere around 1.3nmpg...
those earlier marlins had some delamination problems in their hulls, the hull sides are cored, water intrudes in the area of the thru hulls,be sure and check this real well...i know of quite a few that went back to the factory for repair...
the ride on this rig isn't gonna be what you think,it's gonna pound-read that as,you need to run alot of bow down tab, these rigs will not give the same ride you get outta the deep v rigs...
