I'm Starting to Re-Build/Restoring - the Floor , Transom , Gunnels , etc.etc. New Paint Job - " Total Restoration " ! Why ? Because I like Project Boats to work on as " Therapy "!!!!!!!!!! Cardinal Joe Watch for the progress!!!!
Best of luck!!
I've been looking everywhere for a 22'ish Mako or something similar to restore.
A real basket case that I can sneak in under the Wardens' financial radar.
ive got a buddy with a 1984 22' cc mako. the boat sits on a trailer. suzuki 200, i think its a 2001 or so. the boat needs some tlc, a little bottom work. PM me if anyone is interested, i know he wants to dump the thing. a perfect project boat, its not really too far from being a gem!!
are you doing this yourself,or, are the guys in the shop doing the job ???
i do a few "full on restores" ...the makos are allways a good choice...i finished a 1974 23 mako in the summer...took a bunch of pics of it as i went
check it out here...
Supervising Therapy ! It works for me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
