Dosn't exist true 6-8s are not comfortable in a 50' hull, anything 10' plus sucks.

The 48 I run we can do 23 kts in 7-8fters right on the bow and still be nice and comfy. But other then that i don't know where you can find a 33-39ft boat and have what we have for a ride.

Nice big ol downeast. calvin beal jr makes a hell of a 38 along with wayne beal. Osmand beal is also a nice boat. Where do you have 6-8 on a good day? are they a swell or a steep wave? Good luck in your serch. If I were you I would look into a commercial built downeast or a custom caralina and tell them what kind of seas you are fishing in day to day.

I currently run a 35 bertram tank and I don't like anything over 4-6. The boat can take it but I am not so sure it's crew can. I will say that I can run 18 - 20 knots in this depending on the interval. I ran into some 10 footers last year and could only make 11 knots. Not much fun! Recently I had the chance to catch some rides on a 35 cabo and must say I was impressed in 4-5 footers running in all directions. ( Seatrial ). Good luck!

Ocean Master's website states that the U.S. Navy owns a charter fleet with over 300,000 nautical miles on them, and appearantly they ignore all small craft advisories etc. I like the 31 personally, but I'm looking for center console with twin inboard diesels. I'm thinking you're looking for an express/convertible, etc.
Here's the link to what I'm attempting to refer to: http://www.oceanmasterboats.com/news/world_record.htm P.S. I'm not stating, by any means, that this would be comfortable ride, but it sounds like they won't fall apart. You're talking ass kicking, unrealistic seas.
