from a VSFT committee member

I called the office, once the affidavits have been received, it should be the new Virginia state record. The fish was witnessed by Lewis Gillingham, VSFT Director, and described as being "beautiful, not a scale out of place"! Pat said that the fish hit a white parachute rig that was part of a double parachute rig. It hit as the boat increased its speed to run towards a beehive a swirling gannets.
