2nd Annual Black Drum World Championship
Got my tournament registration form for the 2nd Annual Black Drum World Championship Tournament in the mail today. Saxis Islander and Anthony, are you in?
Looks like there are a couple of changes from last year, but basically the same format. There is going to be a Friday night poolside banquet with the Calypso Nuts playing, sounds lke good tunes and good drinks to me! They are also letting us pay with a credit card this year. http://www.esvachamber.org/festivals/drumfish/ |

Title Change
Hey, ESAngler, Saxis, and Anthony. Enjoy your title for now. The Lil' RonJo will be landing the big one this year!
Thanks for the heads up on the registration and the link. That is awesome that you can register with credit card this year. I checked out their website and it looks like first prize is $3,000 plus trophy and second and third are pretty good too. And...did someone mention Maker's Mark??? Maybe I can find that mermaid that I saw on Anthony's fish finder last Marlin Tourney! |

Little Blue Boat
I know that the "little blue boat" will certainly raise billfish and catch a tuna. But does she have what it takes to lure the elusive black behemoth within the kill zone? I don't they are attracted to juniper berry based drinks with fizzy water.
On a serious note....sorry I missed you folks on Friday nite. I think that putting the James Gang back in the charter mix is a good call. What are your thoughts??? Bay Creek/Cape Charles for the spring???? Is Wachapreague in your plan?? There's slip space at Saxis! |
