Uniden 525 VHF

Picked one up fairly cheap at Boater's World. Anyone have one they use offshore? Any negatives or positives?

I have one for about five years now with no issues, have it hooked up to GPS and hailer, never a problem

uniden

I have an icom and a uniden, and honestly prefer the uniden. Better speaker quality, and easier to read the channel numbers.

My 2 cents.
