I use it. Sent OK messages from 50 miles off NC before and worked every time.

I got mine when they first came out. Its a really nice thing to have on the boat. And it works as advertised. I have found some rather unconventional uses, such as plotting one of my vacation cruises, marking a place that I wanted to be able to come back to, and sharing my location with friends. I almost always have it with me, never know when you might need that 911 button on it.

lets my wife know where we are and when you are way out of phone communication it lets them have peace of mind... now how priceless is that when you come home and they have not been worried sick about you being a little overdue???...!!!
