New Radar Installation Question
Thought about this for a few hours (maybe 1) and came to the conclusion to dump and buy new. So I purchased a Furuno 1715. This will work fine for me. Now in the spring I bought a Garmin 540s. It says on both the Garmin and the Furuno that they can connect to each other, where the LL from the GPS will display on the Furuno screen. The question is what type of NEMA cable do I need? Do I call Garmin or Furuno or both? Is there a universal cable that will connect the 2 units? Thanks in advance. BTW the radar has not arrived yet. I want to get everything so I can do a seamless install. Thanks again |

The Garmin unit includes the cable. For the Furuno unit you will need this cable - LINK
