Navionics vs. C-Map

I do alot of inshore fishing (recently) at present i have a c-map unit(Sitex Neptune) which is great for waypoints and large scale navigation, but it doesn't show detail for tributary's and creeks into the ICW,does Navionics show better detail,i need a unit that will show detail...depth/creeks ect...any recommendations?unit will be transferred between a 13' Whaler/16' Whaler and 24 Mako. Thanks

This really depends on where you are talking about as coverage varies between them. One is not better than the other. You can either visit a local bass pro or equivalent store and try both brands of charts to see which suits you, or give me a call and I can fire up a couple of units with them to see what is covered in your area. You can also call the chart manufacturers and they can send you screen shots for the particular areas you are wanting.

Stop at the navionics booth at the AC Show. Jon Noel is the rep and he will have all the answers you need.
