LED spreader lights and upgrades for 09 season

This spring I added a bunch of equipment to the boat:
2 Vision X XIL-40 Spreader lights for the cockpit
3 VisonX XIL-80 spreader lights for offshore fishing
1 halogen spreader light for the foredeck to aid in anchoring and cleaning at the dock
Imtra Marine blue LED rope lighting under the gunnels
New Infinity 602M speakers in the cockpit
Raymarine E12122 S1G Autopilot
6 Switch DC Panel for added accessories
Lee 45 degree mount center rigger
Lure storage rack in the cabin
Foot Kush at the helm
Drip guards to prevent drip marks on the hull
Recaulked the whole boat, interior and exterior.

Just the XIL-40's on

Now the before and after..Just XIL-40's, then both XIL40's and XIL-80's turned on.

LED rope lighting
Installed flush with the bottom of the gunnel to reduce upwards glare. I used VHF thru deck fittings for a nice clean finish to run the wiring.

Foredeck Light

Cockpit Speakers

Autopilot Install

Rudder Reference Sensor on hydraulic ram

S1G corepack wired and installed under V berth

Hydraulic Type 1 Pump installed under V berth for easy maintenance access and removal.

ST6002 Control Head installation and 6 panel DC switch installation

Center rigger, double rigged

Lee 45 degree center rigger mount

Lure storage rack at the cabin entrance

Foot Kush at the Helm

Drip guards attached to the rub rail to prevent drip marks on the hull. Used 60mil eisenglass.

Removed all of the original caulk and recaulked the whole boat, both interior and exterior. Used GE Silicone Sealant II, Almond color.

Wow.... that looks awesome....

That's a great caulking job.

I caulked in my cooler this afternoon.... No where near as good as your job...

Congrats... everything looks great.

I need you to stop by the marina sometime and give me a hand picking out my lighting.... you have done a great job on your ride. I will stop by soon after dark to check out the lights in person..... thanks for the offer.

Talk to you soon.

Ted

Approximately how much does that LED rope lighting cost?

Rope light wa snot expensive, I put 5ft under each gunnel, maybe $60 wioth connections for each strip. Then you need to get good wire to run to your electical panel as well. I also used a vhf coaxial thru hull fitting for passing the connection wire from the cockpit to the inside of the boat, nice clean finish and watertight, the fittings were around $5 a piece, total job was maybe $100.
