Raymarine S1000

I am going to buy a S1000 next week as well. The boat (27 Phoenix) it is going on is at the outer limits of the unit but Raymarine said it "should" work.

I have it in writing, so I have a case for exchanging it. Right!
I think it will work fine, the ram is well inside their specs and the boat is under 25ft at the waterline and it is under their weight limit. I will keep you posted.

I use it on my 23' Seacraft and am very happy with it. I still think its the best bargain in boating.
