Garmin 182C questions
What I have: 182C and Mapsource/Bluechart Americas CD.
What I think I need: Data card (size for Cheaspeake?) and programmer. Questions: When I program the data card and put it in the unit do I need to do something with the serial number of the unit or will it just recognize the data card? Can I program waypoints and routes on my computer in the mapsource program then program them to the card so they show up on the GPS unit? I read somewhere that only the maps get programmed to the card? If that is the case I think I would be better off just buying a preprogrammed card for the Chesapeake. Any advice would be great, Thanks. |

MUS504L Garmin BlueChart card
hvf21221,
I have a new MUS504L card that covers all of the Chesapeake Bay and the coastal waters out 60-70 NM. I paid $165.00 for it about 6 months ago, will sell it for $80.00 Thanks, John |
