does anyone have any experiance with these units? my dads buddy just gave him a brand new unit for our new boat but i've never seen one of them before so i was looking to see if anyone else has used them before and had any useful info about them they could share?

I have had a Datalink for the last 8 or 10 years,going off memory I "THINK" its the 8000,its about a 10" screen and I use it as one of my backup units.I like the ease of use of the plotter alot better than my Northstar or Furuno.That being said,it doesnt view well in the sunlight.Other than that I really like it for the Chesapeake Bay,I guess because it has alot of my waypoints stored in it.Post up a pic if you can,I cant get to the boat for another couple days.
