Is there any corrosion at the plug end? If not, I would look at the plug inside the unit for any signs of discontinuity. If that checked out, had good voltage fed to it and it would still not come on, it may be time to send it the shop.

thanks for the quick reply, the plug has no signs of corrosion,i use di electric grease on them regulary.is it relativity easy to open the machine without doing real damage. never tried it before.

Unscrew power cable and get yourself a strand of small wire and insert in the plug and other end of your meter to a good ground,preferably a ground bar or strap and check for 12volts first,let me know what you find.
