1. Raymarine HD sounder on an E series
2. It is easy to use- I just turn it on and it works 3. I run it at auto everything for all species. 4. Gain on auto 5. Split screen zoom on range setting depending on how deep the water is and where I am zooming in the water column. 6. Auto gain high. And believe what you see. Do not mess with the settings since this is a true Digital self-tuning sounder. [IMG] [IMG] [/IMG]

I use the new Furuno 585, When fishing I use 50 khz and when running to and from the grounds I use 200 khz to mark bait, bottom and temp. The transducer is the 1kw tilted element by airmar. This pair has been wonderful no complaints. Adjust gain according usually around 4to 5 all the time. Hope this helps..
