Antenna Question

Picked up a Loran-C unit the other day. Power cable came with it, but the antenna didn't. The unit is a Furuno LC 90 Mark II. Can I buy any generic antenna and have it work or does it have to be brand specific.

What you actually need is a Loran Coupler - the antenna is just a Fiberglass whip that you can still find off the shelf - Shakespeare still makes them - both 4 ft and 8 ft

I picked up one off Ebay a while back - there are some generic ones still available. PM me if you can't find one, and I might be able to help...
