We believe it was a voltage or amperage problem. We found the battery dead in the morning and had the problem all day long. We went out again and did not have that problem because the batteries were up to charge as they should have been. We had a bilge pump stick on and drained the battery for that side. The 120 Volt shore power had not been turned on by us. Our mistake.
Checked today to see why the Volt meter was not working. It had a bad connection at the meter. The plug which is female to the meter had expanded. One terminal was not making contact. Squeezed it together and it works fine now. Now if all problems are that simple I have it made.
Thanks for all the imput
