200 hours+ on twins 300s in the first season and not a single issue so far. Nice, simple strong running IMO. You might be taking them in trade anyway..... |

I think it would give you a good alternate motor to rig with. I love mine. Easy to do simple maint on yourself. Very reliable too.

I bought a DF 140 in 2003 and have not had a problem with it. It was the best thing I have ever done to my boat.

I like the mercs. You can go anyplace up and down the coast and you will find parts and service. I have found mercury to stand behind thier product.
