Scratch remover
I have read posts on this topic but have yet to hear of any one solution (other than repaint) that will not cause damage in the long term. I have also heard mineral spirits works well but that seems scary to put thinner on a custom painted boat. Thanks in advance. |

Wax wont do it you need a buffing compound. I have also taken scuff marks off of auto paint with a credit card. But for new paint, because it still maybe a little soft, it needs buffed out then polished with wax.

You are going to laugh but......
anything oily, such as baby oil or WD 40 will easily remove it.
