KLP...Verado update!

As the close of business yesterday, Mercury "Casey" to be exact contacted me and informed me that they will be picking up the rest of the tab! YEAH!...I would like to thank Admin who turned me onto Cardinal Joe to get the numbers to the right people @ Mercury. "It appears that know Admin very well". Thank you all for your support and comments during this ordeal. Mercury has made good through it all, ands thats good enough me! Now lets hope that these motors hold their own under heavy fishing conditions! I can get my boat on Tuesday eve. Anyone want to fish on Wed? Help me test the new motors! Rohde River does not sea trial. Thats up to me.

Thanks again to my extended family.

Capt Tom

Thats great news about your motors, and very encouraging news about Merc's customer service.

So, despite all the bashing that was going on here recently, it's starting to look to me ( as an interested observer) that Mercury actually has a pretty good bunch of people running the Verado program.

It seems its more a matter of educating the frustrated customer about how to get the right info to the right people.

From what I have seen, I don't think I would have any qualms at all about buying another Mercury outboard.

If they do not test run / break in the boat..

.. you had better read on how it is supposed to go. the computer records it all and it is required for warrantee in a pinch.

Glad to hear that your issue was taken care of. Merc sounds like it is doing right by its customers as long as the right people know the situation. Best of luck with your new motors.
